Philip Bloom

Filmmaker who has worked as a cinematographer for big name companies like Lucasfilm, CNN and the BBC. He has theirly been at the forefront of camera technology, holding DSLR workshops and becoming the first cameraman to use the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3.
He began his career as a cameraman at the Sky Network.
His documentary How to Start a Revolution (2011) won Best Documentary at the Raindance Film Festival and Boston Film Festival.
His parents are Francine and Arnold Bloom.
He was the cinematographer for the war film Red Tails (2012), co-directed by George Lucas.
