Phil Driscoll
Trumpet Player
Contemporary Christian musician and composer, as well as the winner of the Best Gospel Performance Grammy Award in 1984.
He started studying trumpet in high school and ended up attending Baylor University.
He won a 1983 GMA Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year for his album I Exalt Thee.
He and his wife Lynne have two children together, though Driscoll also has another son from a previous marriage. The couple was accused of using their music ministry as a tax evasion scheme.
He performed at the dedication celebration for Bill Clinton's presidential library in Little Rock, Arkansas.
