Lead singer of the 1960s British rock band Herman's Hermits. He also appeared on Coronation Street, a soap opera.
He won the Outstanding Young Musician Award at Manchester School of Music. He joined Herman's Hermits when he was fifteen.
His fans call him Herman despite knowing his real name.
He married Mireille Strasser on November 5, 1968 and they had one child together.
He did voice acting with Davy Jones for the Disney show Phineas and Ferb.
