Guitarist and founder of Fleetwood Mac who was ranked #38 on the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list by Rolling Stone.
His given last name was Greenbaum, but he started going by Green beginning in his teens. His first band was Bobby Denim and the Dominoes.
In 1998, he and the rest Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame.
He was the youngest of four children born to a working-class family in London's East End.
Green and Stevie Nicks were both members of Fleetwood Mac.
