Defensive back who was a standout at Oklahoma State University and went on to become a member of the 2012 NFC champion 49ers.
He played defensive back and wide receiver at University High School in Texas.
In addition to playing defensive back at Oklahoma State, he also returned kicks and recorded the school's third-most return yards in a season with 595 in 2006.
He grew up with his family in Waco, Texas.
He was suspended at Oklahoma State by head coach Mike Gundy for violating the team's curfew.
