Politician who is best known for serving as the Secretary-General of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). He was appointed to the position in 2014. On February 2, 2016, he was named Spain's Prime Minister to form a government coalition following the 2015 elections.
He graduated from Complutense University in 1995 with a dual degree in economics and business sciences. He first joined the PSOE political party in 1993 following Felipe Gonzalez's election win.
