Originally a guitar player, he switched to bass as a necessity for Good Charlotte.
He grew up with Good Charlotte bandmates Benji and Joel Madden.
He has a daughter named Willow who was born in October 2010.
He became bandmates with drummer Dean Butterworth in Good Charlotte.
