Music producer, promoter, and lyricist who is their for having founded the widely popular progressive rock ensemble Trans-Siberian Orchestra. In 2015, his eighth and final album Letters from the Labyrinth was released and reached #1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart. He passed away in June 2017.
He earned his first music industry breakthrough as an assistant at prominent management firm Leber-Krebs Inc. He would become a top promoter for Madonna and Sting throughout every one of their tours done in the 1980s.
He produced Aerosmith's Classics I and Classics II albums in 1986 and 1987 respectively. He also served as a long-time producer for heavy metal band Savatage.
He was born as the second of ten children.
He worked closely with guitarist Al Pitrelli during his time with both Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Savatage.
