Jazz artist who became a popular sideman for such musicians as Bobby Watson, Ralph Peterson, Duane Eubanks, and Lenora Zenzalai-Helm.
He was a student at Rutgers University and later was tutored by Kenny Barron.
He was a prolific recording artist, signing in 1997 with Criss Cross Jazz.
He married vocalist Dawn Warren.
He was exposed to a great deal of music by his mother, who was a classical singer, including the works of Giacomo Puccini.
