Orhan Olmez
Folk Singer
Singer who became a star in the Turkish folk subgenre known as Fantezi Müzik with releases like Herşeyin Farkındayım (2005) and 2+20 (2012). He was previously the house saz player for İzmir Radio.
He fell in love with music after being introduced to the saz instrument in the mid-80s. He attended The Turk Music Conservatory of Aegean University.
He was named Best Male Fantezi Müzik Performer of the Year at the Kral TV Music Awards.
His parents are Abdulvahabi Gazi Ölmez and Süheyda Ölmez.
He has performed live with Sami Yusuf.
