Television actress and pop singer, she became well known as a singer first but decided to pursue acting more seriously after she departed music group JKT48. She is best known for her time with JKT48 and in the role of Pita Loka in the 2014 television drama 7 Manusia Harimau.
She began her career as a soap opera actress in 2008. After she joined JKT48 as a first generation member after tough auditions in 2011 she wasn't permitted to act for soap operas. In 2012 she announced her resignation from JKT48 and her subsequent solo career launch.
Her first solo single was released in December 2012 with young singer Gavin MJ and the song "Suka Kamu."
Her given first name is Neneng and she was born in Depok, Indonesia.
She was the second youngest person to be on JKT48, the youngest being Nabilah Azalia.
