Born Garrick Demond Husbands and known to his fans as Numskull, this West Coast rapper is their as one half of the platinum hip-hop duo Luniz along with Yukmouth. Also a solo artist, he released back-to-back albums (in 2007 and 2008) titled Numworld and Hear This!!
In his late teens, he began his music career by contributing to fellow rapper Dru Down's recording Fools from the Streets. He released Operation Stackola, his first album with Luniz, in 1995.
In 2008, he was accused of over a dozen felonies and was incarcerated for seven years.
He was born and raised in Oakland, California.
He was nominated for a Grammy for his collaborative R&B track "Stomp," which also included vocals by Chaka Khan, Coolio, and Shaquille O'Neal.
