Norman Spinrad

An American science fiction writer, he is known for such works as Bug Jack Baron; The Iron Dream; A World Between; and Child of Fortune. He also wrote feature film screenplays and television scripts.
He was a pre-law student at the City College of New York. He later worked as a radio show host, a vocal artist, and a literary agent.
He won a Hugo Award and two Nebula Awards.
He grew up in New York City. He married novelist N. Lee Wood in 1990.
He wrote an episode of Gene Roddenberry's original Star Trek television series.
