Known best for his work with the Irish alternative rock band The Cranberries, this guitarist and songwriter also formed electronica groups called Mono Band and Arkitekt and founded the Gohan Records music label.
After the Cranberries went on a half-decade-long hiatus beginning in 2003, he released his first solo album.
He collaborated with Norwegian singer Kate Havnevik on some of his Mono Band material.
He was born and raised in Limerick, Ireland.
He collaborated with vocalist Dolores O'Riordan on several of her solo recordings, as well as on her better-known work with The Cranberries.
