Goalkeeper with the Premier League club Burnley beginning in 2016 who was also part of England's national team roster in 2018. He was Burnley Player of the Year in 2017-2018.
He was brought up through the youth system of Ipswich Town. He joined Bury Town at the senior level in 2008 and remained there until 2011.
He signed with League One club Charlton Athletic in 2011, but had loan spells with six clubs from 2011 to 2015.
He was born Nicholas David Pope in Soham, England.
He was a goalkeeper for England's national team during the 2018 World Cup serving as backup to Jordan Pickford.
