Singer and composer best known as a member of the long-running Venezuelan gaita zuliana group Gran Coquivacoa. He and the band have been an influential force since the 1970s, releasing classics of the genre like "Sin Rencor" and "La Alianza."
He began performing music at age 11 and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in the United States.
He released the solo single "Prohibido Olvidar" in August 2017.
His real name is Abdenágo de Jesús Borjas Urdaneta. His mother was also a singer.
He and Ali Primera are both popular Venezuelan singers.
