Spanish singer and actress who also directed and appeared in movies for over forty years, including Españolas en París.
She sang in public for the first time at age ten for a radio contest; she won the contest the following year and, at age thirteen, she appeared in the film Zampo y Yo.
In 1986 she became one of the first female directors of her country, with an award-winning production of Cómo ser mujer y no morir en el intento.
She married Victor Manuel, who became her co-composer and the co-writer of her first album.
