Mixed martial artist with a strong wrestling background; competitor in Strikeforce with wins over Nathan Coy and Louis Taylor.
He was a two-time all-state champion with two undefeated seasons in high school, and he went on to wrestle at the University of Iowa.
On July 14, 2012, he lost via guillotine choke to Jason High, who went on to fight in the UFC.
He was born to Denny and Denise Moore, and his brother Nick also wrestled at Iowa.
He trained at American Kickboxing Academy, a gym that has been home to many fighters such as UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez.
