Indian actress known best for her roles in the Tamil film Engal Anna and the Bollywood movie Love Ke Chakkar Mein. She has also appeared in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. She later appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil 1.
After winning the 1998 Miss Surat title, she was a 2001 runner-up in the Miss India pageant. The following year, she appeared in her first Telugu film, Sontham.
At six feet tall, she earned the distinction of being one of Bollywood's tallest female performers.
Born Namita Mukesh Vankawala, she grew up in Surat, Gujarat, India.
She co-starred with Kalabhavan Mani in a 2004 Tamil film titled Aai.
