Actress who has found popularity with roles on Sri Lankan television shows like Rasata Rasak and in such films as Igillena Maluwo (2011). Prior to her acting career, she won the title of Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006.
She attended Subodha Balika Vidyalaya, Dehiwala and Girls High School, Mount Lavinia.
She has been featured on the reality shows Sirasa Dancing Stars and Derana Star City.
She married musician Hasanjith Chathuranga KuruppuArachchi. She has a son.
She and Anarkalli Aakarsha Jayatilaka are both actresses who have held the Miss Universe Sri Lanka title.
