Moroccan singer and songwriter whose biggest hit single became "Hadi Kedba Bayna." She released numerous successful albums including 1991's The Voice of the Atlas and 2001's La Diva Marocaine.
She sang at school parties and local weddings when she was a teenager.
She's one of the subjects of the documentary film Morocco Swings.
She married music producer Hassan Dikouk and has children named Samia, Maha and Wadih.
Faouzia and Jamila Elbadaoui are other well-respected singers from Morocco.
