Bhangra solo artist who first rose to fame as a member of the British Indian Bhangra band B21. He has since released almost half a dozen successful solo albums and teamed up with popular artists like Sukshinder Shinda, Jazzy B, and Malkit Singh.
He was originally the lead singer of the British-born band B21 alongside brothers Bally and Bhota Jagpa. However, he departed the band in 2002, stating it was "a glorified mime act."
In 2011, he went onto the BBC Asian Network show Breakdown Bhangra to publicly declare his departure from Bhangra music.
He was born Jaspal Singh Sidhu in Birmingham, West Midlands.
His 2013 single "Hipshaker" featured YouTube star Lilly Singh.
