In an age of magic and mysticism, wolves are treated as demonic forces who need to be tamed. The film follows a young hunter named Robyn as she heads to Ireland to rid the island of its last pack of wolves.

The animated adventure was directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart. The movie marks the third installment of the Irish Folklore Trilogy, following The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea.
