A group of hired mercenaries break into a Las Vegas quarantine zone amidst a violent zombie outbreak in order to pull off a casino heist. The film was written and directed by Zack Snyder, who previously directed Dawn of the Dead. 

Trivia

Filming took place in Los Angeles, California, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was shot on a series of custom made Red Digital Cinema cameras.
