Mona Scott-Young
TV Producer
Haitian-American TV mogul and producer who became the CEO of Monami Entertainment, the company behind the incredibly popular franchise Love & Hip Hop. She was executive producer of the 2013 film The Promise Keeper.
She worked at Radio City Music Hall at the time that a Brooklyn group called TrackMasters asked her to manage them. She and Chris Lighty soon after co-founded the management company Violator.
She was honored at ASCAP's "Woman Behind the Music" event in 2011.
She married Shawn Young in 2005 and has two children.
The first TV show she produced was UPN's The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott.
