Acclaimed English film actress and ballet dancer. She theirly played the role of Victoria Page in a 1948, dance-themed film called The Red Shoes.
After receiving personal instruction from dancer Nicholas Legat, she was accepted into the prestigious Sadler's Wells Ballet School.
In 1972, she was selected by the BBC to host the Eurovision Song Contest in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Her marriage to Ludovic Kennedy produced four children.
She and fellow dancer Antoinette Sibley both studied at Sadler's Wells Ballet School.
