He took retail jobs and worked as a freelance illustrator before working as a director and teacher at Flagler College.
He played Zep Hindle in the film Saw, the hospital orderly who befriended Jigsaw.
He married Carrie Preston in 1998.
Matthew Fox co-starred with him as Jack Shephard on the television series Lost.
