Fictional character who serves as the patriarch and main protagonist of the long-running animated sitcom Family Guy. The character, an under-achieving slacker type, was employed at a New England toy factory prior to being let go for negligence. 

Trivia

He and the rest of the Griffin family made their first televised appearance in the 1999 episode "Death Has a Shadow." The character's full name is  Justin Peter Löwenbräu Griffin, Sr.
