Hall of Fame NFL cornerback who spent fourteen years with the Dallas Cowboys. He won two Super Bowls with the team and was inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor.
He was a champion track and field athlete at Medford High School.
He was selected to the Pro Bowl an amazing ten times and was named as an All-Pro five times.
He was born Melvin Lacy Renfro and moved with his family from Houston to Portland.
He and defensive tackle Bob Lilly are both members of the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.
