He made his acting debut on the 1984 Brazilian telenovela Vereda Tropical.
He was nominated for the 2002 Prêmio Contigo for Best Villain.
He has three children, Luã, Petra, and Rayra.
He appeared in the 2015 comedy movie In Therapy 2 starring Vanessa Giacomo.
