Most their for his portrayal of Zeke Kinski on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours, Werkmeister received two Logie Award nominations during his six years on the show.
Before being cast in Neighbours at the young age of thirteen, he earned a Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Excellence Award nomination for his performance in a stage production of the musical The Full Monty.
He appeared in Eagle and the Worm's "Give Me Time" music video.
He spent his early years in Cranbourne, Victoria, Australia, and later settled in Melbourne.
He and fellow Neighbours actor Pippa Black were both shortlisted for Logie Awards for their work on the series.
