Former attacking midfielder known for penalty taking who scored 161 goals for Southampton from 1986 to 2002 and played internationally for England from 1994 to 1997.
His youth career started in 1975 with Vale Recreation.
He was voted the PFA Young Player of the Year in the 1989-1990 season.
He has three children: Mitchell, Keeleigh, and Ava.
England manager Glenn Hoddle overlooked Letissier for the 1998 World Cup team; Letissier was known for his ability to score on penalty kicks, and without him on the team England was eliminated in a penalty shootout.
