Tran Bich San
Novelist
Famed Vietnamese author and intellectual who is most recognized for his 2007 novel Nao Nuc Hoi Trang Ram. His other notable works include Van Khao and Giai Thoai Van Chuong.
He graduated from George Washington University in 1979 with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
He pursued a career in the military, serving as the Chief of Administrative Security, Press, and Information Ministry.
He divorced Loan Kim Ta in 2005. The couple had three daughters.
He and astronaut George Nelson both studied at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
