He rose to fame as a contestant on the reality show YG Treasure Box in 2018. He was not initially selected to be a part of Treasure.
He was initially selected to be a founding member of the second group formed from YG Treasure Box called MAGNUM. He was later folded into the larger group Treasure.
He was born and raised in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
He and Choi Hyun Suk both perform in Treasure.
