Martin Crowe

Right-handed batsman who represented New Zealand in ODI's from 1982 to 1995. He was responsible for almost 20,000 first-class runs and was a 1985 Wisden Cricketer of the Year.
He was born in Auckland and made his domestic debut with the city in 1979.
His first-class 56.02 batting average is one of the best in the history of cricket.
He married Miss Universe winner Lorraine Downes in 2009.
His cousin is Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe.
