Jazz saxophonist who is renowned for releases such as the album Dharma Days, as well as for his work with the band Fly.
He played the clarinet in elementary school, followed by the sax in high school.
He nearly sawed off two fingers with a power saw in November 2008, and didn't play again for several months.
He married and had children with Helena Hansen.
He recorded the 2012 album All Our Reasons with renowned drummer Billy Hart.
