Marija Gluvakov
Pianist
An award-winning soloist and chamber musician. She taught at the University of Priština.
She was named the best student of the year upon her 1995 graduation from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.
She joined the Association of Musical Artists of Serbia in 1996.
Her parents were living in Senta when she was born, which was at the time located in Yogoslavia.
She was invited to study at the Manhattan School of Music by famed Professor Solomon Mikowsky who was impressed with her performance of Sergei Prokofiev's Third Piano Sonata at the Frederic Chopin International Competition in Rome.
