Margarita Moran-Floirendo

The winner of the 1973 Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe pageants, Moran-Floirendo is also notable for heading the Ballet Philippines dance company and for working as a humanitarian activist in her native country.
After graduating from Maryknoll College in Quezon City, Philippines, she earned a bachelor's degree in business from Boston University and a master's degree from the University of London.
She received not only the Miss Universe title, but also the pageant's "Miss Photogenic" award.
She is the granddaughter of fifth President of the Philippines
She was the second Filipina to be crowned Miss Universe. In 1969, Gloria Diaz became the first.
