Professional infielder that was drafted by the Chicago White Sox during the sixth round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays in January 2021. He was a first time All-Star as a member of the Blue Jays.
He began his professional career playing for the White Sox' single-A affiliate team the Kannapolis Intimidators.
He made his major league debut playing against the New York Yankees on September 4, 2013 as a member of the White Sox.
He lives with his wife, Tarah, and their two sons.
He recorded his first career hit facing CC Sabathia.
