Professional pitcher that signed with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2017. He was selected to represent the National League All-Star team in 2019 and 2021.
He attended Wheeler High School in Wheeler, Mississippi. After a successful senior season he was drafted by the Texas Rangers during the fifth round of the 2011 MLB draft. However he decided not to sign and instead attend Mississippi State University to play college baseball.
Three years after being drafted by the Brewers during the 2014 MLB Draft, he made his official major league debut on August 4.
He is a native of Tupelo, Mississippi. He lives with his wife, Jonie Woodruff, and their daughter.
During game one of the National League Divisional Series, he hit a home run against Clayton Kershaw.
