World singer who is best recognized for his Puerto Rican Salsa romantica style of singing. He is recognized for his popular renditions of Este Amor Que Me Mata and Regalame Una Noche.
He first started singing at the age of 16 and quickly gained attention with acceptance into the Escuela Libra de Musica de Caguas. Then at 19, he started performing with Pedro Conga and his International Orchestra.
His album Puro Corazon was nominated for the Best Salsa Album at the Latin Grammys in 2007.
While born in New York City, he moved to Puerto Rico with his family at the age of four where he was raised.
He has performed as a backup singer for fellow artist Willie González on several occasions.
