Hairspray Live! was her first professional acting role, which she won during an open casting call. Before that, she appeared in various productions at the York Theatre Company.
Becoming the Great American Songbook Youth Ambassador in 2014 earned her the opportunity to perform with pianist Michael Feinstein at Carnegie Hall.
She grew up with an older brother.
