Highly decorated defensive end in the NFL who was selected to 2 Pro Bowls, 3 All-Pro teams, and 4 All-AFC teams. He won Super Bowl XVIII with the Los Angeles Raiders.
He was drafted in the fourth round of the 1971 NFL draft by the Denver broncos after playing his college ball at Yankton.
He was named the Comeback Player of the Year in 1982 after a year barred by injury and personal problems in 1981.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and died in Portland, Oregon.
He was named All-AFC in 1974 along with Jack Youngblood.
