He received his first career Gold Glove after the 2020 MLB season, becoming the second rookie in White Sox franchise history to win the award as a rookie. He finished second in the voting for 2020 AL Rookie of the Year.
He began his professional baseball career playing for the White Sox rookie affiliate team, the DSL White Sox.
He hit his first career postseason home run in game 3 of the 2020 Wild Card Series against the Oakland Athletics. His 487-foot home run was the longest postseason home run in franchise history.
He has one daughter named Crisbell.
