He began his professional career playing for the Mariners' rookie affiliate team the Venezuelan Summer League Mariners.
He made his major league debut playing against the New York Yankees on April 25, 2019 as a member of the Angels.
He is a native of Naguanagua, Venezuela. He lives along with his wife, Albi Gonzalez, and their son.
He recorded his first career hit facing Masahiro Tanaka.
