Singer who co-founded Gandhi, a Costa Rican alternative rock band.
He sang with the University of Costa Rica's children's chorus and formed his own band when he was thirteen years old.
His band Gandhi covered hits by Queen and Red Hot Chili Peppers and also played original songs such as "El Jardin del Corazon."
He was born in Washington D.C. to Costa Rican parents, as his physician father was studying at Georgetown University at the time of his birth. He moved to Costa Rica with his family when he was four years old.
He and guitarist Federico Miranda were two of the founding members of Gandhi.
