She made her film debut in the 1986 film Speriamo che sia Femmina. She also attended the American Overseas School of Rome.
Her theatre credits include Quando Eravamo Repressi and Risiko.
She has two children with Giovanni Malago. Her parents are Alessandro Lante della Rovere and Marina Ripa Di Meana.
She appeared alongside Olga Kurylenko in Quantum of Solace.
