Lorenzo Romar
Basketball Coach
College basketball coach who became head coach of the University of Washington in 2002 after previously coaching at Pepperdine and Saint Louis.
He played point guard in the NBA from 1980 to 1985 for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons.
He was named Pac-10/12 Coach of the Year with Washington in 2005, 2009 and 2012.
He had three daughters with his wife Leona Romar.
In his early years at Washington, he coached explosive guard Nate Robinson, who went on to play in the NBA.
