Lorenzen Wright

Power forward who was their for his career for his journeyman career in the NBA. He would play for the Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, and Memphis Grizzlies before his July 2010 murder.
He played college basketball for the University of Memphis. During his 1996 sophomore season, he was named a second team All-American.
He was drafted seventh overall in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He spent five years with the Memphis Grizzlies between 2001-2006.
He had seven children with his ex-wife Sherra Wright, who was indicted on first-degree murder charges in December 2017 in connection with his death.
He was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Sacramento Kings in 2008 for Mike Bibby.
