She has worked as the fashion editor of Esquire Magazine Philippines.
Her parents are bankers. Her brother Vince Uy became the creative director of Preview Magazine and her sister, Laureen Uy, became an actress and a fashion writer.
She once dated actor John Lloyd Cruz, who starred in Tabing Ilog.
